His Eye is on the Sparrow is a favorite hymn of multiple generations with its beautiful, uplifting lyrics and memorable melody line.  It was made popular by singer Ethel Waters at Billy Graham Crusades many years ago, but it has also been included in singing competitions in recent years.  It is recognized by many people, and it often brings a smile (and even singing along!).
