Hospital Ministry

Angi regularly plays the harp at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, plus at Piedmont Hospital and Children's Hospital of Atlanta.  She plays in patients’ rooms and in the hallways of the medical departments -- including pre-op & recovery, intensive care, oncology, bone marrow transplant, and neo-natal intensive care, as well as in the cancer center, for newborn babies and their mothers.

The presence of harp music helps to calm the patients and their families.  The hospital staff members are also pleased with the effect – they find themselves relaxing, and they report improvements in some patients’ pulse rates and blood oxygen absorption levels.
